East Palo Alto serves as a home to a multitude of cultures, community spaces, inspiring not-for-profit organizations, and small businesses.
Unfortunately, so much of the spirit of East Palo Alto is missed by those who live outside of the community. East Palo Alto’s reputation as the murder capital in the 80's, harboring gang-related violence, and housing a disadvantaged population are just a few of the descriptors people use.
This project aims to capture more of East Palo Alto; by doing this, we hope to share the unique wealth of these neighborhoods with the rest of the Bay Area. EPA.is showcases the schools, non-profits, businesses, and places of interest in the community.
